Just returned to the real world after a weekend of fun and games....
Etienne de Crecy mesmerised me with his big white cube, which at various points in the night sucked me into a black hole and spat me back out again with an authentic electro bang. I would advise anyone who gets the chance to check his live show out, if only to be able to say you've seen the cube...
Etienne was ably supported, arguably outclassed, by Paul Woolford. I didn't really have much of a clue who he was but turns out I've had one of his tunes (Erotic Discourse) given five-star rating on my itunes for quite a while now and he has quickly assumed a place in the pantheon of my favourite producers.
